Blackjack Switch Turbo

Blackjack Switch by Playtech is based on the concept of switching cards. This move is illegal in the classic blackjack of course, but Blackjack Switch offers the feature of increasing your winning chances. The game is based on the traditional rules and doesn’t contain any side bets, just this innovative feature. The house edge becomes incredibly low (as low as %0.6) and your winning odds double. Thanks to the HTML5 technology, the game supports iOS, Android, and Blackberry platforms. The controls are touch-optimized, and you can play on almost any mobile device. The game itself is certified by the Gambling Commission, to ensure a fair and honest gameplay.

How to Play Blackjack Switch Game?

Classic blackjack rules still apply, and your goal is to reach a total of 21 points with the cards at your hand. 21 is the limit, and you must not exceed this number. If you are unable to reach 21, your points must be higher than the dealer. Each card has a different value:

  • Face Cards (Jack, Queen, King): 10 points;
  • Ace: 1 or 11 points;
  • Other Cards (2-10): Face value;

At the beginning of each round, you get 2 cards. The dealer gets the same number too, but only one of his cards is face-up. The other is hidden at this point. Depending on your total points, you have different options after the initial dealing:

  • Hit: Ask for one more card. As long as you don’t exceed 21, you can take as many cards as you want while the dealer is forced to stand at 17.
  • Stand: No more cards are needed. Use this option wisely, if the dealer has a total higher than you, the round will be lost.
  • Double: If one of the first 2 cards is 9, 10 or 11; you will be offered this option. It means doubling your entry bet because the probability of getting a blackjack (21) is very high.
  • Split: If the first 2 cards are of the same value (i.e. two 8s), you can split the hands and play them independently.
  • Insurance: If the dealer gets an Ace as for the face-up card, this option will be offered. This is a side bet, which you bet on the dealer has a blackjack or not. If you are right, you will still lose the round, but get half of your money back.

When you first start the game, you will see 2 betting circles. Both are for you – at each round, you will get 4 cards in total. After the initial dealing, you can switch the cards between these hands. For example, you can switch the Jack to other hand and get a total of 20 easily. Just click the “switch” button to use this feature, no extra betting is needed. You can switch cards as many times as you want before hitting or standing. After that, this option is not allowed.

To place a bet, use the poker chips located at the bottom left side of the screen. Choose one, click the betting circles, and start the game by clicking the “deal” button. If you win, the payment will be made according to the paytable. Once the round ends, you can choose between 3 options:

  •  New Game: Start a fresh round with different bets.
  • Rebet & Redeal: Start a new round with the same bets and deal the cards.
  • Rebet: Start a new round with the same bet amounts.

Basic Blackjack Strategies

  • Always stand at 17. Dealers do this for a reason.
  • Keep hitting until you reach 17 points or higher.
  • Never take the insurance bet. The probability of dealer getting a blackjack is extremely low. Use “surrender” option instead, if available. If you can’t surrender, just hit.
  • Always split if you have 2s, 3s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and Aces.
  • Always double if you have a 9. For 10 and 11, decide according to the dealer’s hand. If the dealer has a 9, double. If he has a 10 or 11 too, just hit instead of doubling.
